A lot of fuss today about a black man who was shot 60 times while apparently running from the police. I’m not defending this however:

In Kentucky 3 police officers and their K9 dog were killed by a man with a gun while investigating a domestic disturbance:

But this doesn’t make as good copy as “black guy killed by the police”. I don’t believe this guy should have been shot. But it usually isn’t the cops who are the bad guys. In fact many police officers are shot by criminals; 79 in 2021.
