Jeffrey Epstein either committed suicide or was murdered in his cell while waiting trial for various sexual activities with under-age women.
Universities and charities have been quick to denounce him and monies he may have donated. But a Harvard professor has defended taking his money:
The professor has been roundly vilified but think:
What if a truly wicked person, say a Russian gangster or Colombian drug dealer gave away his entire fortune to charity anonymously? Should the charities refuse to take it leaving the criminal with the money?
Or should they take it, ensure the criminal does not get credit and do so much good with the money ?
My vote would be for taking the money.
